Thank you for referring me to Apple support. I had three attempts with them, none of which delivered a solution. They seemed in denial that there is a problem, and even sought to discredit the complaints by many people on this forum who have raised the issue. I re-installed the OS, ran the hardware diagnostic process and it reported no problems. It seems to me that this is just a hopeless camera, and it spoiled for me what should have been a smooth experience. Today, off my own bat, I replaced around 20 LED lamps in my house and that has improved the video on Teams significantly. But surely users should not have to go to these lengths with a camera that has been in service for so long. The cameras on my previous macbook pro and macbook air worked fine. What's up Apple?
