How do I track my route when walking outdoors. Apple Watch 3
Workout map route colors explanations:
Yellow is the average pace.
Green is the fastest pace.
Red and orange are the slowest paces.
All sections are based on averages for that section and length of time to complete.
If there are grey dots on the route this is a weak or non existent GPS signal.
The dots are where the watch is filling in the gaps.
To see the map, you must turn on route tracking. On the iPhone, go to "Settings > Privacy > Location Services" and turn Location Services on.
Another place to check is on the watch in "Settings/Privacy/Location Services" and make sure this is turned on. Then scroll down to Apple Watch Workout and select While Using the App.
