I am selling my iPhone XS on Craigslist and this guy is asking me to give him my old IMEI number to the phone should I give it to him he asked me how much GB is on the phone I can access the phone but then I would have to put in all my Apple Information and don’t want to do that since I have my new iPhone PRO . I just don’t know what he is able to access with that number ? If someone can help me thank you !

First, make sure you have completed Apple's instructions for disposing of an old iPhone.

Secondly, it is likely that the buyer is asking for the IMEI to satisfy himself that the phone is not stolen. There are lots of sites on the internet to look for that. You will also find photos of IMEI numbers in listings on other market places, eBay for one.
It's not unusual, but it's up to you.
