Lost iPad @ Airplane

Lost my iPad after a flight. Left it near my seat. I had a passcode and it was on airplane mode. I set it on ‘Lost Mode’ after coming home. The iPad is WiFi only. I have also reported it to the airline company. After some research, I found out that my contact information won’t be visible unless it connects to the internet. Is there anything else I can do besides pray I get this device back? Lol

Unfortunately, if your iPad was in Airplane mode, you have likely disabled all network connections.

Depending upon your explicit iPad settings, whosever has perhaps recovered your iPad may not be able to enable Bluetooth or WiFi from the Control Centre. As such, your iPad being able to connect to any network connection may be a very, very unlikely. Consider also that most WiFi networks will require input of a WiFi password.

A long shot would be to contact the Airline; whilst perhaps unlikely, the iPad may have been handed in to their lost and found.
