Apps still downloading.......new phone

try going into Settings > App Store and toggling the switches for Automatic Downloads.

If that doesn't kick start the downloads, try a force restart

• Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.

Did you do a transfer from a backup on your computer, or from an iCloud backup or phone to phone transfer? I had this issue with two different iPhone 12 Pros last week when doing a transfer from the backup on my computer. There may be another issue related to the bootloader that has a problem; if you turn on the phone and the Apple logo flashes once before the screen goes dark for a few seconds, then boots normally, it may be related.

I was able to set up a third phone with a phone to phone transfer, but then it also developed the glitch of the Apple logo flash; am now waiting to see if Apple will issue a fix in the near future.
