How do i permanently delete apps from my phone and not just from the Home Screen?

Is it possible that you have Screen Time Restrictions set to ON and nothing to do with the update? Lets Double Check:

Open Settings ➔ Screen Time ➔ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➔ iTunes & App Store Purchases ➔ Deleting Apps : Set this to ALLOW.

When you Touch & Hold on an app then it will give you options in a sub-menu. Those options are Remove app from home screen OR Delete app. Choose Delete app. If Delete app is not offered then that app cannot be deleted from your iPhone. Examples of apps that cannot be deleted are the Safari app and the App Store app.

That action is no longer working. None of my apps are able to be deleted anymore after the last update. Why?

That was it. Thank you! Not sure how I got that setting turned off but it’s on now.
