Trade in renewed phone

Hey, so I am planning on buying a new phone from you guys, my old phone stopped working however it is renewed, I was wondering if I could do a trade in with my old iPhone, it is an iPhone X everything seems to be perfect however the swiping does not work. Again am I willing to trade in a renewed iPhone X for an iPhone 11
