iTunes Store Ringtone

How do I know what songs in the iTunes Store can be made into ringtones? I once had that little bell symbol next to songs that would be able to be made into ringtones. I don't see it anymore 😟
Anyone knows what to do?

Thanks.

From your iTunes Music Library, select a song that you've purchased from the iTunes Store.

Choose Store > Create Ringtone

If a song is eligible for custom ringtone creation, the Ringtone Editor appears at the bottom of the screen. If a song is not eligible, you will see the message: "This song cannot be made into a ringtone."

If your bell icon column disappeared as mine did, you can go into your iTunes music library and go up to the top bar where you see name, artist, album, etc. and right click and a window will open up. Put a check mark next to 'ringtone' and that bell icon column will show up and you should see bells next to the songs you can create ringtones for. When you click on the bell...a fade in/fade out bar shows up at bottom...and this is where you can pick any 30 seconds out the song that you want. Once you pick that 30 seconds...you can click 'Buy' and then you have your ringtone. 🙂

Thank you for the answers, but I think that you misunderstood me. I want to find out which songs from the iTunes Store can be made into ringtones. It's a waste of money to download several songs and then check if they can be made into ringtones after I purchased them, hehe 🙂
Isn't it possible to get the bell symbol in the iTunes Store?

Thanks!

No.

This is how its done in the Store:

Choose iTunes > Preferences, click General, and then make sure Ringtones is selected.

Make sure you’re connected to the Internet.

Select the song you want to use, and then choose Store > Create Ringtone.

In the editing window that appears, choose the part of the song you want to use as the ringtone.

If a song is not eligible, you will see the message: "This song cannot be made into a ringtone."

You can use up to 30 seconds of the song.

When you’re ready, click Buy.

IMPORTANT: After you click Buy, you can change the ringtone’s name and other information, but you can’t select a different portion of the song.

I'll try to explain it again.

When I say download songs, I mean songs from the iTunes Store itself that can be made INTO ringtones. It's not the ringtones themselves. When you say that I can check if it is eligible to be made into a ringtone, that can only be done AFTER the song is purchased. Then when it is purchased, I can edit it and turn it into a ringtone and THEN purchase the ringtone version.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I want to do this on my MacBook. Don't know if that helps 🙂
