Set up iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - https://support.apple.com/HT208681

The above link tells you how. You need to set up the services you wish to use for iCloud on that device.

"Go to Settings, tap [your name], then select iCloud. Choose the

apps—like Photos, Contacts, Calendars, and third-party apps—that you

want to use with iCloud."
