Facetime conversation repeated!

I was having a facetime audio call with a friend for more than 30 minutes, when I started hearing the same sentences he started the call with! It was like the call was recorded and is being played! Is there any explanation for this?

Facetime Sometimes when I finish a facetime call with my boyfriend and we text. In the upper right corner, it still says “Join” and won’t go away. I tried closing the app entirely too, sometimes even when I facetime him a bit later the call would be myself and him but no dial tone
