AIRPOD PRO PROBLEM

Why is my AirPod Pros making my Iphone 11 slow? I just got my AirPod Pros today and when I tried to connect it makes my phone go slow but when I disconnect my phones back to normal. Then sometimes before it makes my IPhone 11 go slow it says the AirPods are connected so I click play on my music then the music comes out my phone. I need help what do I do?
