iCloud on sold iPhone

Hi! My name is Egor. I have problem with my grand mother Apple ID. We change from iPhone 6s to iPhone X. We have problems with ending Apple ID sitting because the ask second verification code from the old device. We sold it already... unfortunately some how phone number is not correct to receive the code. What should we do?

If you have already chosen such options when presented, e.g. Didn't Get Code or Resend Code, then you will have to go the route of account recovery - How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password - Apple Support.
