Green rectangles diagonally across images displayed in Safari
I have noticed green rectangles appearing across some images displayed in Safari. Is anyone else having this issue?
Safari 14.02
Mac OS 11.1
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.1

Same problem here.
I've been seeing this of and on since upgrading to Big Sur. First I thought it was a website problem, but I'm seeing it across many sites. I was getting worried that maybe my RAM was going bad or something, but today I finally googled it and found this thread.
Hi All,
I have the same exact problem, Late 2013 Pro-Retina MacBook Pro. Green rectangles on random images in Safari, and then multicoloured errors on images in Chrome, so issues all round.
Does anyone have an answer? Does reverting to Catalina help? If so I'll do it, I'm a web developer so just cannot have this constant error!
Please help us Apple!!!!
Apple clearly no longer cares about its customers if there going as far to blame extensions with this issue, there is no way that all of us are using the same extension, this is a new issue to 11.6 and up, I have said multiple errors in IOS15 to apple and they don't care either, from simple things of find an address and create a calendar event from said address for a time to meet up.
Currently you have go to the Homescreen, open calendar, create a new event in calendar, try your best to remember the address and go from there.
Lets face it Apple no longer cares about its customers, its gone to the side of lets get money more then lets care about the customer and its showing slowly to more and more consumers, this is why I haven't bought a new Mac since 2012
Count me in -- here we are in January of 2022 and no answers. Green rectangles everywhere. I, too, upgraded to Big Sur a couple months ago and absolutely hate everything about the upgrade. Using a 2014 MacBook Pro Retina and everything is slow and buggy. Maybe my older computer wasn't cut out for the upgrade.
I'm also having the same issue. I haven't noticed in Chrome as of yet, but randomly occurring in Safari.
Macbook Pro, Retina Display 15" (late 2013)
macOS Big Sur version 11.6.1
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB
Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
Apple when are you going to put out a fix for this issue???
Same here.
Same here with MBP 15 inch, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1 GB
So do I!!
Tried my workaround today, and it isn't a workaround. Green rectangles on built-in Retina display, and on external monitor.
I have reported to Apple Developers through feedback assistant.apple.com today as feedback article FB9203772. Maybe we will get some progress now

When is this bug going to be fixed please? I’ve done a vanilla clean install and it remains a problem.
False, this didn’t happen when BigSur first launched, this started happening around 11.5
BigSur fixes the green box/line issues, there are ways to go to this online not supported by Apple but on a vintage device it’s no longer Apples since they don’t support it
