Changing the operating system on my computer

I have High Sierra 10.13.6 operating system. Turbo tax is not compatible with it. I also understand that Apple support is no longer available for it. What would be another operating system that would be compatible to my apps and programs?

iMac, macOS 10.13

TurboTax 2020 requires Mojave or later. Mojave also supports older 32bit apps. If you have a 2012 or later iMac, I would start there.
