IOS Mail Deleted my Emails I Tried to Move

I just created a new mailbox to file a group of emails for my kid’s school. I selected said emails, moved to the new folder but now they are completely gone!!

I have checked every other mailbox folder, trash and done a search and none of them show up! I am 100% sure it’s not user error in moving them.

It is my iCloud account and I’ve tried removing it from Mail and adding it again, restarting my phone. What else can I try? These were kind of important emails.

Help!

Can you try from a Mac? Have you tried just moving one and seeing what happens?

So it's only a specific group of emails that are simply refusing to move? If so, try - Contact - Official Apple Support.

Are you moving via - How to use the Mail app on your Mac to move, delete, or copy iCloud email - Apple Support?

Or - Move or copy emails in Mail on Mac - Apple Support?

It’s not that they are refusing to move it’s that when I requested them to move they have disappeared. They aren’t in the folder I moved them from, moved them to, any other folder or trash. No search for them turns up anything.
