Activation Lock can not be confirmed due to forgotten Apple ID and password.
I recently found an old Iphone5 that belonged to my daughter about 4-5 years ago.
She cannot remember her apple ID and password for it.
Can you unlock it? It was on our AT&T account under Richard Kevin Hood. It currently does not have a sim card in it.
See if she can recover the ID/password. Use every email address she can think of.

For the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password. See if you can get an email option if necessary.
If you/she are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID if provided the required paperwork. Either take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened)
