What is not working? Without any other info, perhaps this article will help:

Also, the first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

This Is A Known Problem.

Our Series 6 Apple Watches do not accurately track swimming distances, laps, or types of swimming strokes.

My husband and I have spent many hours on the phone with an Apple Care agent, who, after trying all of the usual remedies, eventually escalated this problem to their engineers. The engineers reported back that this is a known problem and they are working on a fix.


It would be very helpful - and save a lot of time and frustration - if this information was available to the Apple Care agents, rather than having them "reinvent the wheel" each time a consumer contacts them with this problem.
