About my iPhone’s keyboard and lock button failure

I got my iPhone about less than a month ago but yesterday I noticed that while pressing its keyboard and lock button makes unusual noise like hitting a rock. Can anyone help me if it’s a bug or something with my new device?

iPhone 12, iOS 14

Hi - not sure if that helps, but these sounds could come from the iPhone's taptic engine which uses slight vibration to give haptic feedback to display inputs. You can try to change the settings and see if the problem persists: https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/change-sounds-and-vibrations-iph07c867f28/ios
