Frustratingly slow WiFi on 2017 MBA - Catalina 10.15.3

For the past few weeks I’ve been having a major problem with my 2017 MacBook Air’s internet connection. For no reason at all, the internet on my device unexpectedly slowed down. I’ve already checked with the admin and he informed me that he hadn’t touched any router settings. I’ve also tried to reset all my network connections and have tried multiple times to delete and restore my network config files, but still no dice. What should I do? How can I determine if the issue lies with the WiFi or the laptop? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
