Pages won’t open

On iPad Pro 2020 when tapping pages a dark grey page with nothing to tap opens up.

Have you checked for any available updates for your iPad Pro? Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Also, are your apps up to date? Update apps or use automatic downloads
