Converting iTunes music file into a MP3 version?

Im making a presentation on powerpoint and want to include music. All music on iTunes has to be a MP3 file to include into a powerpoint presentation. I have a iTunes account and all my music is on there. I have tried to convert my music over to a MP3 file but I keep getting an alert saying 'Could not be covered because protected files cannot be converted to other formats'. I am working on a new MacBook Pro I have recently purchased and need help please?

The key word here is protected. DRM protected content from an Apple Music subscription cannot be converted to another format or used outside of the iTunes ecosystem. If you have pre-2010 purchases that are DRM protected you can burn these to audio CD and then rip back unprotected copies.

Hi, I have a similar question. i used to download from the Internet to my desktop and, eventually, to my Facebook page. Then, after an Apple update, my MP3s have been going directly to ¡Tunes where I do not want them.

I am thinking that the music on ¡Tunes is already on MP3 and, so, your task would be to transfer the MP3s from your ¡Tunes to desktop before you upload it to your powerpoint presentation. So, you are having the same problem, I think, trying to download from ¡Tunes to desktop before loading onto another format.
