VO2 reading on Apple Watch 6

I can’t get VO2 measurement on bike ride only on walks why would this happen ?

Missing VO2 when hiking Hi, I have a series 6 watch that gives me fairly consistent VO2 readings when doing Outdoor Walking and Hiking workouts. My wife has a series 8 watch that gives only occasional readings in Outdoor Walk and never in Hiking. I have "re-calibrated" her watch but this doesn't seem to help. Anyone have any suggestions?

VO2 Max reading not working on Apple Watch So I have 5 outdoor run workouts this week, plus one a month ago, and then 7 going back to August and I still can’t get a VO2 Max reading. I thought it was 5 readings in 3 months and 10 in 6 months? I guess that’s a lie just like the GPS feauture? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Ah ok .... wonder why they don’t do bike

Because Vo2Max is only measured through an outdoor walk or run or hiking workout.
