My MacBook Pro doesn’t have a power button. Normally turns on when open laptop, but not today. Advice says to press and hold power button. How can I get it to turn on?

The power button on recent MacBook Pro models that have Touch ID is where Touch ID is located -- just press it down harder than when using it as a fingerprint reader.
