Mail / Big Sur - Where did the flags go?

So here's another little challenge which Big Sur brought to Mail users:

The flags (marking for messages) which I use a lot to organise my work are kind of gone. Well: there are still flag symbols, but they don't show in the overview anymore.

Only when I click on a message, I can see it was flagged, but that's not quite the idea, right?

Has anyone got an idea how to bring them back into the From/Subject/Date/ line?

Did you try to add the Flags column to the list?

Just ctrl-click on the headers to add/remove columns from the list. Works in Finder, too, and most lists in macOS.
