Notification when tracking stops

A few times when I’ve been walking or hiking tracking pauses or stops while I’m not done. Is there a way to set a notification on your watch to get haptic feedback or something to alert me so that I can continue tracking?

Why does my watch keep asking me if I'm done hiking? There is no reason my watch should ask me every 10 minutes on a hike if I have completed the workout. Hiking sometimes involves moving slowly and/or climbing which won't register on a GPS device. It's annoying and distracting, which is dangerous. How can this feature be turned off for this activity?

No alert to start tracking excercize Hello, My new iWatch 5 sends an alert to stop tracking activities when I stop excercizing. However, when I am playing tennis or hiking and I forget to start the tracking mode myself, I receive no alert to start tracking the activity. So I receive no credit for playing tennis, hiking, running etc. I callibrated the watch and all settings seem to be OK. What can I still do? Thanks in advance. Karin
