Regarding 1st time use of an apple device.
Hello, I am from India and want to buy an apple product. As I am totally unaware about iOS usage my question is should I buy an iPhone as my 1st apple product or should I buy an ipad Air?

If you also use as a phone then iPhone is the one for you.
You can of course get an iPad as well (bigger screen) and with an iPhone around you can use iPad also as a phone.
