In system preferences > network are your settings according to it , do you know wireless network password , is air port router also configured or not .

Have you ever tried to delete all network settings and once again configure , steps are very easy but before that wireless network password is essential , it can be obtained from keychain access https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/keychain-access/kyca1085/mac

A1: The SSID shows, the password is correct, they don't use AirPort devices (though I do). Still trying to figure out why I got the log in success, though I am not connected.

A2: Tried to reconfiguring it all, having deleted all settings. But, no success. Did a TMB backup and restoration to get it back (that's why took a bit for a reply). Everything is back as to how it was. Restarted my Mac, and when I get back to where I was before work, all is fine. I think it has to do with the ISP and the company's service - lots of security measures are taking part in the server's location today and tonight (due to current events). So, security may need to be reset.

Internet service providers may use air port express / using Mac , you don't know about them they might be using window computers .

Its the Mac user who set up airport express if the connection is static then contact them for settings , if your IP address fluctuates ( using broad band connection ) see the complete user guide https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/aputility/welcome/mac

The mail you posted is genuine , and the status link shows green check mark ( so no issues from server end )

Did you changed Apple ID password in Mac , any errors to update it once again ( do you use Mac / iPhone what are the version , installing all updates , do use 2FA or secondary authentication account , try safe mode .

Also a single incorrect settings in network in your air port router / ISP modem will create issues , open system preferences > network if any proxies / vpn services used will stop connecting and you can't sign in www.icloud.com

Secondly using anti virus / softwares / unidentified apps create issues in Mac , if any uninstall them .

VPN:

Work's changed to a VPN. I couldn't log in all there - Having used my Mac right now where I am, everything seems fine. Popped back in to work, and I cannot get in. Tried everything else (some is N/A such as AirPort). VPN seems to be the issue, according to others there. I'll inform the Web Master. Expect a reply soon.

Thank you for the reply.
