It once was so easy and now I’m confused. I go to pay with my credit card that is in Apple Pay and it says “confirm with assistive touch” which is grayed out. Nothing I do at that point works. Not double click on the side, nothing. What setting do I need to change? Frustrating, once so simple now so difficult.
I did that and it corrected my problem, however I spent the next two days setting up my iPhone settings everywhere and my iPad too. Ugh! Something more subtle would have been appreciated but this did work.
When you go to settings>accessibility>touch>assistive touch>confirm with assistive touch - turn off.
Try going to settings>general>reset>and reset all settings.
