hi all.
this is driving me crazy.
everytime I record something either as midi or capture last take as recording there is ALWAYS a small blank midi region on top.
although its not that much of a big deal to expand, select the one you want, flatten it would save me SO much time if there was a way to not have to do this each time I play in some midi.
can anyone pls help?

Whenever you record midi with take folders on it it always adds a tiny region at the top which is blank.
Ive highlighted it.
As I said this means having to open it up and select the region below it every time you record midi.
It adds an unnecessary step to midi recording.
Im gonna turn take folders off though because its such a waste of time.
I can't see any empty midi region. All regions captured either midi notes or midi data. Try to record without using take folders.
that area is before the loop brace and therefore would have been recorded first.
many point is that it should not be on the top in the way of the latest take.
its adding in unnecessary steps.

Can you see the dark line? It indicates some kind of MIDI-information, like CC, program change....
