does any body know if in the package at purchase,there was to be a USB port included?

A port is the hole into which you plug things. On an iPhone SE(2) it is a lightning port and comes with a lightning to USB-C cable. You may need an adapter to plug this cable into the older, rectangular USB ports found on most hardware.
