How to download previous macOS? Good day! How do I download previous macOS installer, like High Sierra? I've found the this link https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683 which links to the front page of Mac App Store, but no download link. I've also found updates to the different previous systems, but not the actual macOS file. I'm based in Norway, maybe that has something to do with the link redirecting me to nowhere. Download macOS without Software Update The App store only allows me to download an update for the latest macOS using a MacBook Air, but as the 'creating a bootleable drive' article instructs, I need to download an installer for an earlier version in order to create a bootleable drive for an older iMac. How do I get around the App store to download the installer I need?

Click on the link to the right of Download: in the Related Article above for the specific version you're interested in. Except for the El Capitan one, they won't work in Firefox.
