When i use Command+Z it makes changes to other open apps, not the one i am working on?

Maybe with some experimentation you can devise a work around. Seems an odd behavior I never heard of before.

The ⌘+z syntax should be the Edit > Undo command for the current application focus, which you should confirm, before attempting any undo operation.

Does this also happen when you use the Edit > Undo menu instead of the shortcut?
