Leave a group text

I tried following the instructions to leave a group text but when I got to the part about scrolling to the bottom and there would be a message “leave this group”. It is not there. How do I leave a text group?

iPhone 11, iOS 14

IF you don't see that feature, that means you're not in a group imessage (all apple users) but in a group MMS (android and iphone users) which you can't leave.

Let the original sender know to create a new thread and omit you from it.
