Choose About This Mac from the Apple menu.

For reference, Macs run macOS or Mac OS X, not iOS.

I need macOS version 10.14.0 or later, how do I get that on my MacBook Air?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and if your MacBook Air is a 2012 or newer model, download Mojave, Catalina, or Big Sur. If not, you can't.
