Iphone 12 pro max scratches on Stainless Steel band

has anyone got any scratches on their stainless steel iphone 12 pro or pro max i’m currently having the issue i am using this as my daily driver and is protected by the official apple case however below the charging port its still picking up scratches for something that so expensive would of thought it would of lasted abit longer then this apple is refusing to acknowledge this sending me around in circles i did see a thread about the same issue however seems its been closed
