GarageBand Amp Sims

I have an early 2015 Macbook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7. sometimes my amp sims sound like they are supposed to, other times they all sound clean usually a restart and replugging in the USB correct it. Why is it happening? I thought of buying a new USB to an audio interface which is an M-Audio Mtrack II. Thank you.

Why does usb audio sometimes quit? I have some externally powered speakers (Audioengine A2+) connected by USB. Normally they work fine, but sometimes when I use the Preferences>Sound menu to select "Audioengine A2+" as the output, I get no sound. Switching to the other outputs - such as "iMac Speakers" or "External Headphones" the sound plays normally. If I turn off the power switch on the A2+ speakers, then turn them back on - the speakers will play again - until next time. Dragonfly cobalt issues with Mac Studio So, I have an Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt that is not liking my Mac Studio or...Vice Versa. Worked fine with my old MBP and my Intel Mac Mini and my iOS devices. but, when I plug it into my Mac Studio via USB A or USB C (via the dragon tail) I get a rapid clicking sound. Now I have TWO questions... ONE: Do I even NEED the Cobalt with the Mac Studio because apparently the headphone out on the back supports hi-res audio and low-impedance headphones. TWO: What the heck could be wrong and why is it clicking? Audioquest has not been able to offer any help that actually works. Is anyone using one of these with an M1 Mac that is having/had similar issues? Thanks!!

Logic pro x audio drops out when punching record in/out, Macbook M1 Hi, Can anyone help me solving an annoying issue with logic on my new Macbook pro M1, Big Sur? In logic (and garageband) when activating (toggling) record on an audio track all audio from other tracks drops out for 1-2 seconds. I have been going through all audio settings and have been testing with both built-in and an external soundcard (RME). I also have Cubase (10.0) running on the same machine, and it works fine. Actually I bought Logic along with the M1 macbook pro expecting that it would run far smoother than Cubase...
