iPhone 12 Pro yellow screen tint

Just bought a new iPhone 12 Pro from

ee and noticed immediately that the screen was yellow in colour. It is much more yellow than my old XR, iPad and any other iPhone I have ever had. I had it replaced twice by ee but both these phones have the same yellow tint in the screen.

I spoke to Apple by chat and the technician said they didn’t know of the problem. Then I called Apple and was told there was a memo with information to tell customers that Apple are aware of the problem and are working on a fix. I was told it would likely be fixed by a software update in due course.

Has anyone else been told by Apple that they will rectify this by software update? Also, can anyone confirm that this issue was fixed by software update on the iPhone 1?
