why cant i use .5 lens on snapchat on iphone 12pro while some of the people using the same phone are being able to use the feature. Searched everything on the net but no help.

and sorry for choosing the device as iPhone because 12pro still have bugs so they dont let you choose 12 or the 12pro.

My iPhone 12 is not giving me the option to use the telephoto lens I’ve been watching tutorials on how to use optical vs digital zoom to improve the quality of my photos. However, every tutorial says that when I open my camera app on my iPhone 12 (not pro), that in the Photo mode it will show me three options at once: .5x, 1x, and 3x. My camera does not show me those options. It shows 1x. When I tap it, it automatically zooms out to .5x. If I try holding it, it expands to show a wheel of zoom options, but those are all digital zoom. How do I guarantee the use of optical zoom with the telephoto lens if I don’t have the same options other iPhone users have. Is it an issue with the phone itself?

How to use iphone 14 macro lens in facebook? I need to be able to use the macro lens for facebook live streams. Is this not possible? I do live streams for my gemstone business and can no longer hold sale items anywhere near the camera. The camera works perfectly except in facebook (and other third-party apps). I “upgraded” from iphone 10 to iphone 14 pro max, and am regretting the switch because of this issue. It affects my sales and ultimately my entire online business. Please tell me there is a way to switch cameras during a facebook live, or even a way to force the macro lens. I feel like I’ve tried everything. To be clear this is not the blurry issue that was fixed during the recent update, this is a problem with allowing the camera to switch to macro lens in a third party app. Help!?

Apprently snapchat tells that they’re too busy to get back, and they appreciate us getting back to them. I dont get it why some iphone 12pros have this feature and some don’t
