my iMac won't print

I have just bought a new HP 3750 printer, that prints fine from all my Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air) except my iMac, where I get the message on the print menu that says "Stopped - "Filter" failed".

Can anybody please recommend a solution?
