Passwords and accounts

On neither my iPad nor my iPhone is there the word “accounts” by the “passwords” in settings. Neither device “Asks” whether to create or save passwords when I am signing up in new accounts.

I do have restrictions set up in “screen time”; is that a factor?

How can I get my devices to perform their password creation and auto fill functions?

Assuming that you have updated to iOS/iPadOS14.x...

Start be ensuring that Keychain is enabled:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Keychain > iCloud Keychain - set to ON

Next, check that you have enabled the Password Autofill function:

Settings > Passwords > Autofill Passwords > AutoFill Passwords - set to ON

Settings > Passwords > Autofill Passwords > iCloud Keychain - enable (tick)
