Can a 20watts charger be used for beats solo pro?

A USB charger always starts at 5 volts and will go to a higher voltage only if the device requests it. The amount of current drawn is also controlled by the device.

If a charger is defective, of course, it can cause damage.

Yes. Any USB charger will work.

So the power at 20 watts will not effect the beats?

I know standard chargers come at 5 watts. I had AirPods and battery has been affected by using apple 18watts usb charger.

so I’m guessing the AirPods battery is defective as I have used the same charger for all apple devices.
