Downloading purchased movies

And I don’t mean download on my iPad or iPhone. I can see them there. But I also have a Android phone. But as usual Apple loves to hide what you buy. I purchased the movies I should have access to them. I should be able to then take that movie and watch it on my Android phone. I don’t always have my iPad with me. And I have a little IPhone SE just to talk to my iWatch. It’s to small to watch movies on. This really is why I stick with the Android platform. Apple takes and hides your purchased music and purchased movies. If I had the DVD or Blueray at the same price you charge which is retail I’d be able to put that movie on any device I want to watch it from. So my question is I purchased like 16 movies and comedy skits from Apple TV how do I then find those movies I downloaded to my iPad to put on my Android phone?

Limnos is correct. Apple isn’t hiding the movies from your Android phone. You can’t access them on the phone.

Furthermore, and you are going to like this answer I’m sure, even if you purchase the movie, you don’t actually own it. You have purchased the license to watch that movie. Unless you download it to a computer and store it there and then back the computer up for an additional way of storing the movie, you could lose the movie.

If you happen to delete the movie on your iPad or iPhone and Apple should happen to remove it from iTunes for some reason, then there would be no way to retrieve the movie that you purchased. It would be gone forever.

Sorry, but you cannot simply decide to interpret the legal terms so they are to your liking. And here they are:

You may not think that it's right, but you agreed to the terms when you opened an account and purchased something.

FWIW, I do not purchase movies, music, or subscribe to it. I prefer to own what I want to buy.

Yeah sorry you buy the license to watch this on any device you can. A blue ray can play on any player including a computer. And it can be transferred to any device you own. You just can’t copy the movie or song for resale. But for your own use you can put that movie on any device you want. But not when you buy them from Apple because they try to own you. Try to find your pictures on any apple device. I have bought songs on an old iPod that I can’t retrieve to put them on my Android phone to listen to them. Send you buy the right to watch or listen to that item. You don’t pay money to only watch or listen to your media only on a Apple device. Imagine if I bought a Blue Ray from Samsung that wouldn’t play in a Sony player. Sorry that’s not right.
