Choosing songs for Album Artwork screensaver

Before updating to Big Sur, the screensaver only used artwork from one playlist on my iTunes account and I liked that. After the update, all of my songs were added to the screensaver and a lot of them I don't want on there. From what I've seen, the screensaver adds all songs from your library and I don't want to delete the songs but I also don't want them on the screensaver. Is there a way to pick only specific songs or playlists to show up on the screensaver or am I stuck with songs I don't want on the screensaver now?

Hello 36725 and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty with the Album Cover screensaver option on your Mac.

There is no option for limiting the covers to a specific playlist. If you would like to leave feedback for Apple about that, you can do so here: Feedback - macOS - Apple Cheers.

This is false. There used to be a way to pick and choose which covers to be displayed. The screensaver would only display downloaded songs which is a much easier method. Now that feature is gone for some reason and there is no way to choose which covers to be displayed. This is a step backwards and is unacceptable.
