USB-C Monitor for charging only

Hi

I have a MacBook Pro connected via an USB-C cable, and a PC connected through HDMI to the same LG Monitor.

I have not found a way to use the Monitor as a screen for the PC, and at the same time as a charging hub for the MacBook Pro WITHOUT having to enable the "Mirror Display" settings every time I turn on my PC. Whenever I plug in the MacBook Pro, it recognises it as a second monitor (even though on my LG monitor I have selected the HDMI output). The only workaround I have found so far is to enable the "Mirror" settings in System Preferences, but since I regularly switch between using the Monitor for my PC and the MacBook, this workaround is quite cumbersome.

Thanks for your help!
