If I do a Factory reset, will my SIM Card Work as it is locked to a Carrier

Will my Wife's SIM card work if I do a Factory Reset please.???

The device will work if the sim is from the same carrier.

Factory reset does not remove a sim lock.

Thank you Kirk, as the reason for me asking is because of Brexit in the UK Vodafone have wanted to charge me above my Contract Rate paid Monthly for being out of the Country because of Covid 19.

Cancel the Contract with them and at the same time asked them Unlock the iPhone so I can put another Carriers SIM card in.

I am stuck in the Canary Islands now with out a phone and some one else's Sim I cannot use
