I have IOS 12.5 but a memoji button doesn't appear to create a memoji. How do I get it

Funny my boys have an iphone se and can create a memoji. Apple support just says you need an ios 12 or higher. Not looking for animoji or to animate just create the emoji that looks like me. I will gladly upgrade my phone if you are paying
The Animoji button is only avalible on iPhone X and later, and Memoji stickers are only avalible on iOS 13 and later. Because you have iOS 12.5, you don't have Memoji Stickers. Upgrade your phone.
