Multitasking

I was wondering if there are plans to include split screen app functionality in iOS 15? That feature keeps me going back to android. If you travel very lite and want to have a video conference on zoom or other apps and use the web or documents, you have to toggle between screens to do so unlike Android. The split screen functionality allows two apps to be accessible on one screen. IPad shouldn't be the only device with that function.
