Nope, the only time I got something used from Apple was when I bought it from the refurbished store.

Click on the Contact Support site at the top right of this page and get them replaced.

Connect to your Mac. When connected, they will appear in your Menu Bar. Click on them and menu drops down. Hover over "Condition." A slide out menu will show date of manufacture and number of cycles. Battery Health is in the main dropdown. Might be a way on iOS, but I haven't researched it.

Have already done so. These were in stock at some kind of Apple facility locally. Incidentally, the serial numbers are generally sort of kinda the right syntax, but not quite. Frankly, I think they may be fake. Seems to me it's just part of their slow rot. Stuff like this shouldn't happen.

I just ordered a pair of Pros that should arrive on Monday. I’ve never owned any of their headphones. How do you check how many charge cycles they’ve run? Thanks in advance.
