iTunes Keeps Crashing

Hi All,


My iTunes keeps crashing on my MacBook Pro 2015, since upgrading to Big Sur, I've had a lot of hassles with iTunes.


I've attached the error report from iTunes, does it mean my music from my MacBook Pro is screwed!

Make a copy of the iTunes Genius.itdb file in say the Previous iTunes Libraries folder, then delete the original and empty the trash. Now see if you can sign into Apple Music again.

Hi T2,


Thanks, I tried both. In Safe Mode, my Apple Music selections played fine.


I then returned to normal mode, when playing Apple Music selections, the Music app crashes.


When I disconnect, I only have access to my Music Library, and my music plays fine.


So, the issue appears to be with Apple Music, because when I reconnect the internet and select one of my Apple Music subscription tunes, the Music app crashes.


Could it be a subscription thing, my subscription is current and working perfectly on my iPad and iPhone?
