Anyone have any thoughts on why I can't Install H&R Block 2019. I have Downloaded but it will not Install. I have tried Resetting Sharing & Permissions from Get Info tab from Read/Write to Read & back to Read/Write multiple times but it is not working

Sorry, now I see it...I had to click the Mac button & it tells me it needs OS10.15 or lower....I just breezed over that.....thanks for letting me know...I can now stop my exercise in frustration & go get the old iMac out of Storage.....

As you can see here, this software requires MacOS Catalina or earlier. It does not operate using MacOS Big Sur.

That link didn't take me anywhere useful, however I'll believe you. Time to break out my Old iMac which I believe still has Catalina on it. I'll let you know how that goes, once I get it out of Storage.
I admit I have never used H&R Block software ... I have used TurboTax for many years.
In the TurboTax case, one never needs the previous year's software to import into the current year. What is required is the previous year's data, which I always save and use.
Maybe that will save you a trip ...
You know, I would do that if I had the data...but that is another story....so I'm going with 🤞 that I can power up the old iMac which I decommissioned about May '19 so it should be running something lower than OS10.15
H&R Block 2020 does install using MacOS Big Sur.
Yes, I have managed to Download & Install H&R Block 2020, which led me to the initial problem with H&R Block 2019.
